The Pimlico Off Centre Sealed Dot pairs a wide flat disc with a smaller hand blown glass sphere, mounted low and to one side rather than dead centre. It sits close to the wall, almost flush against it, so the silhouette reads as two simple shapes rather than one bulky fitting. The glass dot is sealed shut, so the light source stays hidden behind it rather than sitting exposed.

Choose Your Finish

This fitting ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in Opaque White glass on a brass finish, but Leverint blows the same dot in Ribbed, Fine Ribbed, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass too (the twist finishes carry a small upcharge), and plates the disc in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

Each fitting takes a single 1.5W max G9 bulb, not supplied as standard, so you can choose the exact brightness and colour temperature you want. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The disc measures 280mm across and the whole fitting projects 168mm off the wall, sitting fairly flush rather than jutting out. We recommend having it wired in by a registered electrician.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to each piece they make.
