The Piccadilly Duo Deco Wall Light stacks two hand blown glass cylinders on a single flat plated metal bracket, so one light shines up the wall and one shines down. It makes a tall, elegant column of light and is Leverint's suggestion for bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways. It is also a taller fitting than most wall lights, standing 408mm tall and 80mm wide, so please check the height against your wall and any mirror or headboard before ordering.

Choose Your Finish

Each light is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above on this page when you order. The photos show the pair of cylinders in ribbed, fine ribbed, opaque white and ribbed twist glass, and Leverint also offers a fine ribbed twist texture. Both twist textures are available as an upgrade. The bracket is plated in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can tie it in with the rest of your scheme. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your light may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works

Each cylinder holds its own G9 bulb, so the light takes two G9 bulbs in total. Bulbs are not supplied as standard, but you can add Leverint's G9 LED filament bulbs from the dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists the fitting as mains dimmable, so both bulbs can be dimmed together when the light is wired to a compatible dimmer switch and fitted with dimmable bulbs. The bracket projects 130mm from the wall. This is a hardwired fitting, and we recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician, ideally NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best

The vertical shape suits a tall, narrow stretch of wall, such as beside a bathroom mirror, on a hallway wall, or either side of a bed where you want light cast up and down. Used singly it works almost like a light sculpture, and a matching pair either side of a mirror or fireplace makes a strong symmetrical statement. The ribbed glass spreads the light into soft vertical lines on the wall.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each piece of glass is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. Two matching cylinders on one bracket only look right when the glass is closely matched, which is a good example of that handwork.
