A Slim Glass Cylinder on a Flat Metal Bracket
The Piccadilly Deco Wall Light is a single hand blown glass cylinder held by a broad, flat plated metal bracket that sits close to the wall. It is a clean, architectural shape with a gentle glow, and Leverint suggests it for bedroom, bathroom and hallway settings. It stands 215mm tall and 80mm wide, so it is a slim fitting that works on narrow stretches of wall.
Choose Your Finish
Each light is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above on this page when you order. The photos show the cylinder in ribbed, fine ribbed and opaque white glass, as well as the ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist textures, which are available as an upgrade. Leverint plates the bracket in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to taps, handles or other metalwork nearby. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your light may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works
The light takes a G9 bulb. It is not supplied with one as standard, but you can add Leverint's G9 LED filament bulb from the dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. A G9 LED filament bulb suits the open glass, because the filament stays visible through the ribs. Leverint lists the fitting as mains dimmable, so it can be dimmed when it is wired to a compatible dimmer switch and fitted with a dimmable bulb. The bracket projects 130mm from the wall. This is a hardwired fitting, and we recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician, ideally NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best
The narrow 80mm width suits places where a bigger sconce would crowd the wall, such as either side of a bedroom headboard, along a hallway or beside a bathroom mirror. A pair on either side of a mirror or doorway gives a symmetrical look, and a single fitting adds soft light to a landing or dressing area. The ribbed glass breaks the light into fine lines on the wall, while opaque white gives a calm, even glow.
Made By Leverint
Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each piece of glass is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. A tall, straight sided cylinder like this one depends on even walls and a clean finish at the rim, which is where that handwork shows.
