A Teardrop Shade With A Sealed Glass Profile

The Kingston Small Sealed Wall Light pairs a compact, tapering teardrop shade with a neat right angled arm and a small round backplate. The glass is sealed rather than open at the base, so the bulb sits fully enclosed inside it, giving a soft, even glow with a tidy, sealed profile rather than an exposed lamp underneath. It is a small scale single wall light, easy to place in pairs either side of a bed, mirror or doorway.

This wall light ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in Ribbed glass on a polished nickel finish, but Leverint blows the same teardrop shade in Fine Ribbed, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass too, with the two twist finishes carrying a small upcharge, and plates the fittings in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

Each Kingston Small Sealed Wall Light takes a single 4W max G9 bulb, which is not supplied as standard. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. The fitting projects 75mm from the wall on a 140mm arm and stands 315mm tall from backplate to the tip of the shade. As with all Leverint fittings, we recommend it is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its small size and soft glow suit living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways, wherever you want gentle accent light rather than a main source. Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould.
