A Twin Bathroom Wall Light With Telegraph Pole Glass
The Kichler Talland 2 Light Bathroom Wall Light has two clear glass shades, each with ridged bands around the top like the glass insulators once seen on telegraph poles. They hang side by side from a straight bar, with a squared chrome arm over each. It is a small detail that gives a modern bathroom a nod to the early and mid 1900s.
Polished Chrome Finish
Everything metal here is polished chrome, bright and reflective, so it matches modern taps, rails and mirror frames. The glass is almost completely clear, and the bulbs can be seen glowing inside it. Photographs show how the ridged glass catches highlights, which adds sparkle without any extra decoration.
How It Works
- Two G9 lamp holders, each suited to a 3.5W LED bulb (bulbs not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
- Steel and glass construction on a round back plate and bar
- Fixes flat to the wall, with the shades facing outward
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Where It Works Best
This is the mid sized option, 33.6cm wide, which suits a single basin mirror, a dressing table or a bedroom wall. Mount it centrally above a mirror for even light on the face, or use it above a bedhead or vanity. A cloakroom or en suite is a good home for it, as the style stays smart and compact.
Made By Kichler
Kichler started in 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, when Leonard Kichler began making lighting. Today the company is based in Solon, Ohio. Talland is a good example of how it blends period references with products that work in a modern home.
