A Compact Bathroom Wall Light With Soft Edges
The Kichler Roehm Single Bathroom Wall Light is a small, calm design. A tapering block of opal glass sits on a stepped chrome arm, bolted to a square back plate. The edges are rounded off and the lines are straight, giving it a timeless shape that does not shout for attention.
Polished Chrome Finish
The metalwork is polished chrome with a clean, bright shine. It reflects the room around it, so the little arm and back plate never look dull, and it matches chrome taps, shower heads and radiators. The opal glass has a satin look and glows a warm white once lit, hiding the lamp inside completely.
How It Works
- One G9 lamp holder, suited to a 3.5W LED capsule (bulb not supplied)
- Dimmable with a dimmable G9 LED lamp and a compatible dimmer
- Steel and zinc body with an opal glass shade
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
It is a simple wiring job for a registered electrician, with a back plate that sits flat on the wall.
Where It Works Best
Its small size makes it ideal for compact bathrooms and cloakrooms, where a pair either side of a mirror gives gentle, even light. It is also a smart choice for a hallway, a guest bedroom or beside a small basin. Because it is only 17.3cm tall, it will not overpower a low wall.
Made By Kichler
Leonard Kichler began making lighting in Cleveland, Ohio in 1938. The company now works from Solon, Ohio. The Roehm shows Kichler at its quietest, with careful proportions and a modern take on a familiar sconce shape.
