A Tall, Slender Bathroom Wall Light With Soft Opal Glow
The Kichler Mona 2 Light Large Bathroom Wall Light is built on a long, elegant line. A slim chrome stem rises above and falls below a rounded drum of opal glass, so the whole fitting looks a little like a taper candle on the wall. It is a polished chrome bathroom wall light for people who like a clean, symmetrical design.
Polished Chrome Finish
The stem, top rim and bottom rim are polished chrome, bright and mirror like, with the rims finished in a softer brushed look where they meet the glass. Against the creamy white opal shade, the chrome looks crisp and cool. It pairs naturally with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames.
How It Works
- Two G9 lamp holders, each taking a 3.5W LED lamp
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable G9 LED lamps
- Steel frame with an opal glass shade that diffuses the light evenly
- Rated IP45, which makes it suitable for bathroom use
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
The shade hides the lamps completely, so you get a smooth glow rather than a point of glare.
Where It Works Best
At 76.2cm tall, this is the large size of the Mona, and it is happiest as a pair either side of a bathroom mirror. The long stem draws the eye upwards and makes a ceiling feel higher. It also works in a hallway, on a landing or either side of a bed, where the soft light is welcome and nobody needs to see the lamps.
