Kichler Marette Single Bathroom Wall Light - Black

A Black Twisted Sconce For Bold, Modern Bathrooms

The Kichler Marette Single Bathroom Wall Light in black is a sharp take on a classic sconce. A squared, softly glowing glass shade sits on top of a long twisted blade, and the whole thing is set against a plain rectangular back plate. It is graphic and elegant, and it brings a bit of drama to a bathroom wall.

Black Finish

The body and back plate have a flat black finish that looks smart against white tiles, pale paint and natural stone. A small block in a light metallic tone on the arm catches the eye and stops the black from feeling heavy. It goes well with black taps, matt black shower screens and dark framed mirrors. The satin etched opal glass shade stays a soft white, so the contrast with the black is striking.

How It Works

• One G9 lamp holder, suited to a 3.5W LED capsule (bulb not supplied)
• Dimmable with a dimmable G9 LED lamp and a compatible dimmer
• Steel body with a satin etched cased opal glass shade
• Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

The thick glass hides the lamp, so the light looks like a glowing block rather than a bright point.

Where It Works Best

A matching pair either side of a mirror makes a smart vanity setup. It also looks good along a hallway, beside a bed, or in a dressing area. In traditional rooms it adds a modern note, and in contemporary schemes it fits right in.
