An Eight Light Crystal Chandelier You Can Use in the Bathroom
The Kichler Crystal Skye 8 Light Bathroom Chandelier is a wide, shallow ring of clear, triangular crystal prisms, with a flat plate underneath that is studded with small faceted crystals. It hangs from fine cables, so the whole thing seems to float. The light inside sparkles through the prisms and throws a gentle glitter across the ceiling and walls.
Chrome Finish
The chrome ceiling plate, cables and base plate are mirror bright, and they reflect the crystal as well as the room around it. This keeps the look very light and glamorous, rather than heavy. Chrome goes naturally with chrome taps and brassware, and with white and pale grey tiles.
How It Works
- Eight G9 lamp holders, using 3W LED lamps (not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable G9 LED lamps
- Crystal prisms on a chrome frame, hung from cables with an adjustable drop of 30cm to 135.9cm
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Where It Works Best
It is 53cm wide and only 14.4cm tall, so it is a good size for a larger bathroom, ensuite or wet room with a decent ceiling, and it looks equally good over a dining table, in a bedroom or in an entrance hall. Photos show it above a freestanding bath, with matching wall lights, which is an easy way to build a complete look.
Made By Kichler
Kichler began making lighting in 1938, with founder Leonard Kichler in Cleveland, Ohio. Its home is now Solon, Ohio. Crystal Skye is one of the brand's glamorous collections, built around the same prisms in wall lights and chandeliers.
