A mains spotlight finished to match your scheme

The Hunza Wall Spot GU10 mounts to a wall and throws a directional beam at a single feature rather than washing an entire surface. Running on GU10 mains keeps things simple, with no transformer to fit, just a standard mains connection. The head sits on a fully adjustable arm giving 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation. This version comes in Hunza's powder coated aluminium finish.

The powder coated finish

Colour is baked onto the aluminium body rather than sprayed on as wet paint, giving a harder, more even matt surface. There are seven options: Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades, held in stock; the rest are made to order, and colours are for indication only, with swatches available on request.

How It Works

Once set, the arm holds the angle you have chosen. The head measures 63.5mm in diameter and 90mm long, with a 45mm arm and a 75mm diameter, 28mm deep wall base.

It is not supplied with a bulb, and a Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp is required to keep the IP66 rating and warranty valid. The same fixture is also available as a low voltage version if you would rather run it through a transformer.

Where It Works Best

Suited to single features rather than long runs: a specimen tree, a piece of sculpture, steps, or an architectural detail, and worth considering where you want the fitting's colour to match the building it is mounted on.

Questions People Ask

Does this need a transformer?
No. It runs on standard GU10 mains, so there is no transformer to fit, unlike the low voltage version of the same fixture.

Which colours are held in stock?
Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades and normally ship fastest. The other five are made to order and take longer, and are non-returnable once ordered.

Can I angle the beam straight down the wall?
Yes. The arm gives 0 to 90 degree elevation and full 360 degree rotation, so it can be set anywhere from a near horizontal beam to pointing straight down.

Will the powder coat finish fade in sunlight?
Hunza's powder coating is designed to withstand outdoor exposure, but as with any painted outdoor finish, some gradual colour change over many years in strong sun is normal.
