Hunza Spike Spot Non-Adjustable - Powder Coat - Low Voltage

A fixed spotlight finished to match your scheme

The Hunza Spike Spot Non-Adjustable mounts on a ground spike rather than a wall bracket, pushing straight into a border, lawn edge or planting bed. The head is fixed at a set angle, so you choose the direction at installation rather than adjusting it later.

This version runs on low voltage and comes in Hunza's powder coated aluminium finish.

The powder coated finish

Colour is baked onto the aluminium rather than sprayed on as wet paint, giving a harder, more even matt surface that holds up better outdoors. There are seven options: Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades; Dark Grey, Olive Green, Silver Star, White and White Birch are made to order, and colours are for indication only, with swatches available on request.

How it works

With no moving head, there's less that can work loose or need resetting once it's in the ground, useful for a permanent set position rather than the option to re-aim later. It isn't supplied with a bulb, and to keep the IP rating and warranty valid, it must be run with a Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp. Being low voltage, it needs a transformer, sold separately. The same fixture is also available as a GU10 mains version.

Where it works best

Good for a permanent installation you won't need to re-aim: a fixed feature or a spot where the planting and layout aren't likely to change, and worth considering where you want the colour to match the surrounding planting or hard landscaping.

• Returns: Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Matt Dark Grey, Matt Olive Green, Matt Silver Star, Matt White and Matt White Birch are made to order colours and marked non-returnable, final sale unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.
