A mains spotlight finished to match your scheme
The Hunza Spike Spot Adjustable GU10 mounts on a ground spike rather than a wall bracket, pushing straight into a border, lawn edge or planting bed. Running on GU10 mains keeps things simple: no transformer, just a standard mains connection. The head tilts and rotates so you can aim the beam exactly where you want it.
This version comes in Hunza's powder coated aluminium finish.
The powder coated finish
Colour is baked onto the aluminium rather than sprayed on as wet paint, giving a harder, more even matt surface that holds up better outdoors. There are seven options: Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades; Dark Grey, Olive Green, Silver Star, White and White Birch are made to order, and colours are for indication only, with swatches available on request.
How it works
Once pushed into the ground, the head can be angled and turned to point the beam at whatever you're lighting. It measures 63.5mm across the head, 90mm along the body, with a 200mm spike and 1m of cable supplied. It isn't supplied with a bulb, and a Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp is required to keep the IP66 rating and warranty valid. The same fixture is also available as a low voltage version if you'd rather run it through a transformer.
Where it works best
Good for picking out single features without a wall to fix to: freestanding trees, island beds, statues, or a path through open lawn, and worth considering where you want the fitting's colour to match the surrounding planting or hard landscaping.

Matt Dark Grey, Matt Olive Green, Matt Silver Star, Matt White and Matt White Birch are made to order colours and marked non-returnable, final sale unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.

Questions People Ask
Does this need a transformer? No. This is the GU10 mains version, so it wires directly into a standard mains supply with no transformer needed. The same fixture is also available as a low voltage MR16 version if you'd rather run it that way.
Which colours can I actually return if I change my mind? Only Matt Black and Matt Bronze are returnable within 14 days if unused and in original packaging. The other matt colourways are made to order and marked non-returnable, so we'd always suggest requesting a swatch first.
Can I mix this with the low voltage version in the same garden? Yes. Many of our projects use both, mains fittings where a supply is already close by and low voltage fittings further from the house where running a mains cable isn't practical.
What bulb does it take? A Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp, sold separately. Using anything else can affect both the IP66 rating and the warranty.
