A Slim Recessed Washer in Your Choice of Colour

The Hunza Pure LED Washer Recessed in powder coated aluminium is a flat, low profile in ground light, with a flange only 3mm deep. Its asymmetric optic directs light toward the surface you want to highlight with little to no glare, and a mounting canister is supplied to make the installation tidy. It is the version to pick when you want the flange to match your paving, decking or gravel edging.

Seven Powder Coat Colours

The colour is baked on, and the choices are Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. Colours are indicative only, so ask for swatches if the exact shade matters. One caution: if the flange is walked over, the powder coat will chip. For anywhere with foot traffic, we recommend copper or stainless steel instead, and only stainless steel is suitable for driving over.

How It Works

• An integrated Cree LED chip with serviceable parts, rated at 400 lumens from 6 watts with a CRI of 80 or more at 3000K.
• Colour temperature options of 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
• The canister measures 100mm by 100mm and the flange is 110mm across and 3mm deep. The cut out size is 100mm, and 1m of cable is supplied.
• Low voltage and wired in series, which means a remote driver is needed. Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
• Rated IP67 and covered by a 5 year warranty.

• In planting beds and borders, washing a wall or fence with light
• Set into a wall base or a raised planter, away from foot traffic
• Beside a lawn edge where no one will walk on the flange
• Anywhere a coloured flange needs to disappear into its surroundings

• Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging.
• Matt Olive Green, Matt White, Matt White Birch, Matt Dark Grey and Matt Silver Star are made to order and non returnable unless faulty or damaged.
• Not suitable for walking or driving over, as the powder coat will chip.
• It is supplied without a driver, so a remote driver must be bought separately and the circuit wired in series.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Can I walk on the powder coated version?
It is best avoided. If walked over, the powder coat finish will chip, so copper or stainless steel is recommended where there is foot traffic.

Can a car drive over it?
No. Only the stainless steel finish is suitable for driving over.

What warranty does it carry?
The powder coated version has a 5 year warranty.

Do I need a driver?
Yes. A remote driver is required and sold separately, because the fitting is low voltage and wired in series.
