A Flat Copper Wash of Light in the Ground
With a flange only 3mm deep, the Hunza Pure LED Washer Recessed in copper is barely there until the light comes on. An asymmetric optic points the beam toward the surface you want to light, such as a wall or a planted bank, and keeps glare to a minimum. The copper flange can be walked on without damage to the luminaire, and a mounting canister is supplied.
Solid Copper That Weathers in Place
This finish is solid copper, and Hunza designs it to change outdoors. Expect it to move from bright and warm to brown and, in time, a soft green as it weathers. It suits gardens that lean on natural materials. The copper version is for walking on only and is not suitable for driving over. If vehicles will pass, choose the stainless steel version instead.
How It Works
- Integrated Cree LED chip, serviceable parts, producing 400 lumens from 6 watts, with a CRI of 80 or more at 3000K.
- Choose between 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
- Canister 100mm by 100mm, flange 110mm in diameter and 3mm deep, with a 100mm cut out. Cable of 1m is supplied.
- Low voltage, wired in series with a remote driver, sold separately. Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
- IP67 rated, backed by a 10 year warranty with 5 years on the LED.

Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- Not suitable for driving over. Only the stainless steel finish carries a drive over rating.
- Wire it in series with a remote driver, which is not included.
- Solid copper will darken and patina outdoors. This is normal and not a fault.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions People Ask
Can vehicles drive over the copper version?
No. Copper and powder coat finishes are not suitable for driving over, and only the stainless steel version is rated for it.
Can I walk on it?
Yes. The copper flange can be walked on without damaging the luminaire.
What cut out size is needed?
The cut out size is 100mm, matching the 100mm canister that is supplied.
Will the copper change colour?
Yes. Solid copper darkens and patinas as it weathers, which is normal and not a fault.
