The Hunza Pure LED Tilting Eave Light 3W in copper is a small recessed downlight with a movable head, so the beam can be aimed rather than only ever pointing straight down.
Solid copper finish
- The visible face is solid copper, one of Hunza's genuine solid metal finishes.
- Expect the copper to darken and develop a natural patina outdoors as it weathers, which is normal for this finish.
- Colour swatches are available on request, since screen colours are only ever a guide.
How it works
- Unlike the fixed Eave Light range, this fitting has a tilting eyeball head that rotates a full 360 degrees and adjusts through around 25 degrees of tilt, so the beam can be angled onto a wall or feature rather than pointing straight down.
- The integrated Cree LED chip is rated at 200 lumens from 3 watts, with a CRI of 90+ at 3000K.
- Colour temperature can be specified from 2200K to 4000K, and beam angle from 15 to 45 degrees.
- It is a compact fitting, 47mm in total length with a 25mm recessed body, a 62mm flange lip and a 50mm cutout, supplied with a 1 metre cable.
- This is a low voltage fitting wired in series, needing a compatible remote driver, sold separately, rather than a transformer.
- It is IP66 rated and dimmable if a suitable dimmable driver is used. A 6W version of this tilting light is also available for a wider or brighter beam.
Where it works best
- Gable ends and angled soffits, where a fixed downlight cannot be aimed correctly but a tilting head can.
- Washing a wall or chimney breast from above, where the beam needs to point outward rather than straight down.
- Pergolas, garden rooms and covered decks where a small, adjustable accent light suits the space better than a large fitting.
Our experience with Hunza
Moonlight Design has supplied Hunza's outdoor range since 2003. The tilting Pure LED fittings tend to come up when a customer has a specific feature they want to highlight, a piece of stonework or a gable end, rather than a straightforward soffit wash.
Good to know
- Usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns are accepted within 14 days provided the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The LED chip is integrated and Cree branded, replaceable if it ever fails, so there is no separate lamp to buy.
- A compatible remote driver is required and is not included.
- Warranty is 10 years on the fitting and 5 years on the LED.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Questions people ask
- Can the beam be angled rather than pointing straight down? Yes, this tilting version rotates 360 degrees and tilts around 25 degrees, unlike Hunza's fixed Eave Light range.
- What is the difference between the 3W and 6W tilting versions? The 3W gives 200 lumens and suits smaller accent jobs, while the 6W gives 600 lumens for a brighter or wider beam.
- Do I need to buy a bulb separately? No, the LED is integrated and Cree branded.
- Does this need a transformer? It needs a compatible remote driver rather than a standard transformer, sold separately.
