Hunza Pure LED Tier Light Wall Mount - Powder Coat - Low Voltage

A Porch Light That Glows Sideways, Not Skywards

The Hunza Pure LED Tier Light Wall Mount is the wall fixing version of the freestanding Tier Light. Its wide hood sends a full 360 degrees of light around a horizontal plane and keeps vertical light out of the picture, so the glow stays low and comfortable around a porch or entranceway. This is the low voltage version, with an integrated LED chip that Hunza designs to be serviced rather than thrown away.

Powder Coated Aluminium in Seven Colours

The body and hood are powder coated aluminium, with the colour baked on. You can choose from Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. On screen colours are indicative only, so ask us for swatches if the shade matters next to your brickwork or paintwork. Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Matt Olive Green, Matt White, Matt White Birch, Matt Dark Grey and Matt Silver Star are made to order and non returnable unless faulty or damaged.

How It Works

• A Cree XHP-50-2 LED on a plug and play, field replaceable board, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K for natural looking colour on walls and planting.
• Hunza rates the fitting at 510 lumens at 1050mA (about 6.4 watts), roughly 85 lumens per watt, with a life of 50,000 hours to L70.
• Pick 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K when you order, from a very warm glow to a crisper white.
• Low voltage and wired in series at 1050mA, so it needs a remote constant current LED driver, sold separately.
• Dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable driver.
• Rated IP66, and backed by a 5 year warranty on the aluminium and on the LED electronics.
• The Retro version of this light has an integral driver and runs from 120 to 240V mains, if you would rather avoid low voltage cabling.

Where It Suits Best

• Beside a porch door, where a low spread of light shows the step and the threshold
• Along an entrance passage or covered side return
• On a garden or boundary wall that needs a gentle marker light
• Anywhere you want a soft wash without light thrown up into the sky

Planning and Installing With Moonlight Design

Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them. The project photographs on our Design Service page show our own completed schemes, and how we plan, draw up and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. If you are unsure how many lights a porch or entrance needs, that page is a good place to begin.

Good to Know

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• The LED chip is integrated and the board is field replaceable, so it can be serviced.
• Must be installed in series with a remote driver, so plan the circuit with your electrician before installation.
• Colours are for indication only and swatches are available on request.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions People Ask

Does this light shine upwards?
No. It gives 360 degrees of light on a horizontal plane without projecting vertical light.

Can I run it straight from the mains?
No. This low voltage version must be wired in series with a remote driver, sold separately. The Retro version is the mains alternative.

What colours does it come in?
Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star powder coat, with a choice of 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K light.

Can I dim it?
Yes, when it is used with a suitable dimmable driver.

Is it weatherproof?
Yes. Hunza rates it IP66, so it is designed for outdoor use on an exterior wall.
