A fixed spotlight with the LED built in, finished to match your scheme

The Hunza Pure LED Spike Spot Non-Adjustable is a ground spike spotlight that pushes straight into a border, lawn edge or planting bed. The head is fixed rather than adjustable, and the LED is built into the fitting rather than supplied as a separate lamp. This version comes in Hunza's powder coated aluminium finish and runs on low voltage.

The powder coated finish

Colour is baked onto the aluminium rather than sprayed on as wet paint, in seven shades: Black, Bronze, Dark Grey, Olive Green, Silver Star, White and White Birch. Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard colours and the quickest to ship; the rest are made to order. Treat these as a general guide and request a swatch if you want to check a shade before ordering.

How it works

You push the 145mm spike into the ground and angle the body where you want the light to fall, and because there's no moving head, there's less that can work loose later. The LED sits inside the fitting, with parts Hunza describes as serviceable. The fitting is 63.5mm in diameter and 75mm long. At the point of ordering you choose colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and lens (clear or frosted), and it needs a driver and transformer, sold separately, as this is a low voltage fitting.

Where it works best

Good anywhere you want a single point of accent light and already know exactly where it needs to be aimed: a fixed feature or a spot where the planting around it isn't going to change much year to year, and worth choosing where you want the fitting's colour to match the surrounding planting or hard landscaping.

Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your colour or specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
Returns: Black and Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Dark Grey, Olive Green, Silver Star, White and White Birch are made to order colours and are final sale unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.
The LED is integrated, there's no separate lamp to buy or replace.
Check your colour, colour temperature, beam angle and lens choice carefully before ordering, as these are made to order specifications.
Requires a transformer, sold separately, as this is a low voltage fitting.

Questions People Ask

Which colours can I return if I change my mind?
Only Black and Bronze, within 14 days if unused and in original packaging. The other five shades are made to order and final sale unless faulty or damaged.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?
It isn't a separate lamp, but Hunza describes the internal parts as serviceable, so a fault doesn't necessarily mean replacing the whole fitting.

Does it need a transformer?
Yes, this is a low voltage fitting, so it needs a driver and transformer to run it, sold separately.

Can the head be pointed in a different direction once installed?
No, this is the fixed head version. Hunza also makes an adjustable Spike Spot if you need to change the aim later.
