A Colour Matched Path Light on a Pole
Some gardens call for a light that disappears into the planting, and the powder coated Hunza Pure LED Single Pole Light does that well. A compact spotlight sits on an 850mm pole and carries a fully adjustable arm, so you can rotate it 360 degrees and elevate it from 0 to 90 degrees. Hunza suits it to path lighting as well as tree lighting, and it can be pointed down to keep the light low and the glare out of sight. This is the low voltage model.
Seven Powder Coated Colours
The body and pole are aluminium, finished in a high UV resistant polyester powder coat with the colour baked on. You can choose Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green or Silver Star to suit your borders, fencing or paving. Colours are indicative only, and swatches are available on request. Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned, while the other colours are made to order specially for you and cannot be.
How It Works
- The arm gives 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation on a solid brass knuckle with an anti rust spring, with the head able to face downward.
- A replaceable Cree XHP-50-2 LED board delivers 600 lumens at 1050mA (6 watts), with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K and a rated life of 50,000 hours to L70.
- Select a colour temperature of 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens. The step lens is 10mm extra clear, low iron, shatter resistant glass.
- Body diameter 63.5mm and length 75mm. The pole is 38mm in diameter and 850mm long, and 1m of cable is supplied. The aluminium fitting weighs 1kg.
- The pole is fixed directly into earth or concrete. A flange mount option is available for hard surfaces.
- Low voltage and wired in series with a remote constant current LED driver, which is sold separately. Each fitting needs 6V DC at up to 1050mA.
- Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
- IP56/IP66 rated and covered by a 5 year warranty on the aluminium body and on the electronics.
Where It Works Best
- Along gravel or paved paths where you want a modest pool of light at each stop
- Within low planting, where a dark finish helps the fitting fade from view
- Near fences, walls or sheds, picking a colour that matches the surface behind
- Around a lawn edge or terrace to give soft definition after dark
