Hunza Pillar Light Retro Powder Coat

Colour Matched Light for Pillars and Piers

Some pillar lights need to blend in, others need to stand out. The Hunza Pure LED Pillar Light Retro in powder coated aluminium lets you decide, with seven colours to match your gates, window frames or stonework. It lights up and down together and runs straight from the mains, with an integral 120 to 240V driver included in the fitting and an LED board at each end.

Seven Powder Coat Colours

The colour is baked onto aluminium rather than painted, using a high UV resistant polyester powder coat over a chromate substrate, and you can choose Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green or Silver Star. Colours are indicative only, and swatches are available on request if you want to check before ordering. Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Matt Olive Green, Matt White, Matt White Birch, Matt Dark Grey and Matt Silver Star are made to order and non returnable unless faulty or damaged.

How It Works

A single cylinder washes the wall above and below with light.
Each end has a Cree XHP-50-2 plug and play field replaceable LED board giving 420 lumens at 700mA (4 watts), with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
Options cover 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, 15, 25, 38 or 60 degree beam angles, and a clear or frosted lens, behind a 10mm extra clear, low iron, shatter resistant glass step lens.
Body 63.5mm diameter by 139mm long, on a 78mm diameter base 55mm deep, with 1m of cable. The fitting weighs 1.1kg.
The Retro mounting plate is fixed to the wall with two screws, then the luminaire is fitted to the plate. The base is cast from low copper aluminium alloy.
Mains powered with the driver included, so no remote driver is needed. It is not dimmable.
IP66 rated with a 5 year warranty on the aluminium body and on the electronics.

Where It Works Best

Painted gate piers, where you can match the colour to the ironwork
Dark walls and fences, in black or dark grey to keep the fitting discreet
Light rendered walls, in white or birch so it does not stand out in daylight
Garden walls near a mains supply, avoiding a separate low voltage cable run
