The Hunza Pure LED Path Light 2 Facet Opposites in stainless steel is a recessed ground light with two light windows set directly across from each other, throwing two separate beams in opposite directions along a single line rather than merging into one spread. It sits flush into paving, decking or a driveway.
The Stainless Steel Finish
Machined from marine grade 316 stainless steel, this finish has a cool brushed silver tone and resists corrosion well, suiting coastal gardens as well as inland ones. A small Hunza "H" mark sits at the centre of the disc.
How It Works
- Two narrower windows sit directly opposite each other in the custom made TIR borosilicate glass lens, so the fitting throws two distinct beams facing away from one another rather than merging.
- The recessed body is 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, with a 63.5mm cut out size. The flange is 88mm across and around 20mm deep, supplied with a 1m cable.
- An integrated, replaceable Cree LED chip gives 600 lumens (6 watts, 1050mA) at CRI 90+, in 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
- Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
- Runs on low voltage, wired in series with a remote driver.
- IP67 rated, with the lens keeping dirt, mud, grass clippings and water off the optics.
- 10 year warranty, 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
With two beams facing directly away from each other, this version suits a path or driveway where light should travel lengthways in both directions from one point, for example set centrally along a straight run rather than at an edge. As this stainless steel finish is rated to be driven over, it also works set directly into a driveway surface.
Our Own Installations
The extra photographs on this page, of driveways, paths and courtyards lit at night, are Moonlight Design's own designs and installations, not stock imagery. They show runs of recessed Hunza path lights along real driveways and paths. None of the five photographs are close enough to confirm this stainless steel finish specifically, so use the studio photograph above for the metal itself.

Questions People Ask
Can this light be driven over?
Yes, in stainless steel it is rated for vehicles weighing roughly between 1700kg and 3500kg. The copper version of this fitting is not rated for driving over.
What does "Opposites" mean on this light?
The two light windows sit directly across from each other in the lens, so the fitting throws two separate beams facing away from one another rather than merging into one spread.
How does this differ from the 2 Facet 180º version?
The 180º version places its two windows side by side so the light merges into one broad spread. This Opposites version places its windows across from each other for two distinct beams in opposite directions.
What driver does it need?
A compatible remote LED driver wired in series, not a plug in transformer. An electrician can size this correctly for your circuit.
Does it suit a coastal garden?
Marine grade 316 stainless steel resists corrosion well, which makes this finish a sensible choice near the coast.
