The Hunza Pure LED Path Light 2 Facet Opposites is a recessed ground light with two light windows set directly across from each other in the lens, so it throws two separate, more defined beams in opposite directions rather than one merged spread. It sits flush into paving, decking or a lawn edge.
The Copper Finish
Finished in solid copper, this version has a warm polished tone when new and will patinate and darken naturally with weathering outdoors, a quality many people choose copper garden lighting for. A small Hunza "H" mark sits centrally on the disc.
How It Works
- Two narrower windows are cut into the custom made TIR borosilicate glass lens, placed directly opposite each other along one axis rather than side by side, so the fitting throws two distinct beams facing away from one another.
- The recessed body is 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, with a 63.5mm cut out size. The flange is 88mm across and around 20mm deep, supplied with a 1m cable.
- An integrated, replaceable Cree LED chip delivers 600 lumens (6 watts, 1050mA) at CRI 90+, in 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
- Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
- Runs on low voltage, wired in series with a remote driver.
- IP67 rated, with the lens keeping dirt, mud, grass clippings and water off the optics.
- 10 year warranty, 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
Because its two beams face directly away from each other rather than merging, this version suits a path or driveway where light needs to travel lengthways in both directions from a single fitting, such as a light set centrally between two sections of path, or spaced along a straight run where each light should throw forward and back rather than side to side.
Our Own Installations
The extra photographs on this page, of driveways, paths and courtyards lit at night, are Moonlight Design's own designs and installations, not stock imagery. They show runs of recessed Hunza path lights marking real driveways and paths, giving a sense of how the light reads once several fittings are installed together. None of the five photographs are close enough to confirm this copper finish specifically, so use the studio photograph above for the metal itself.

Questions People Ask
What does "Opposites" mean on this light?
It describes the layout of the two light windows in the lens. On this version the windows sit directly across from each other, so the fitting throws two separate beams facing away from one another rather than merging into one spread.
How is this different from the 2 Facet 180º version?
Both have two windows, but the 180º version places its windows side by side so the light merges into one broad spread, while this Opposites version places its windows across from each other for two distinct beams in opposite directions.
Can this copper version be driven over?
No, the copper finish is not rated for vehicles to drive over it. Choose the stainless steel version if you need a drive over rated fitting.
What driver does it need?
A compatible remote LED driver wired in series, not a plug in transformer. Your electrician can specify a suitable driver for the circuit.
Is the light source replaceable?
The Cree LED chip is integrated rather than a plug in bulb, but it can be serviced and replaced rather than sealed for life.
