Copper Light for Porches and Entrances

Soft, welcoming and a little sculptural, the Hunza Pure LED Pagoda Light in copper gives off light in two directions at once. The lens sends it out sideways and upwards, which makes it a natural choice for a porch or entrance way, where you want the surroundings lit rather than a single spot. The Cree LED chip is integrated and the parts are serviceable.

Solid Copper, Left to Age

Hunza makes this one from solid copper, and it is meant to be left to weather. Expect a bright, warm colour at first, which deepens to brown, and then a soft green on copper, rather like old roofing. If you would rather it stayed the same, the Pagoda is also offered in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

Moonlight Design first worked with Hunza in 2003. Since then we have designed lighting schemes for gardens, supplied Hunza fittings and installed them. • Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• Copper will darken and develop a patina outdoors, which is expected rather than a defect.
• No lamp to buy: the LED is built in and the parts can be serviced.
• A remote driver is needed, sold separately, and must be wired in series.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

How does copper change over time?
Hunza designs solid copper to patina outdoors. It starts bright and warm, deepens to brown, and in time turns a soft green.

Does it light upwards and outwards?
Yes. The lens reflects light at two angles, horizontally and upwards, so the surroundings are lit as well as the immediate area.

What colour temperatures are available?
2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.

Will it work with any driver?
It is a low voltage fitting installed in series, so it needs a suitable remote driver, which is sold separately.
