A Pure LED Lawn Light With a Solid Bronze Face

The Hunza Pure LED Lawn Light is set into turf so its top sits level with the grass, and it throws a narrow beam straight up. The LED is part of the fitting. This version pairs a solid bronze flange, the ring you see and stand on in the lawn, with a powder coated aluminium body below ground.

Solid Bronze Flange, Powder Coated Body

The flange is solid bronze, not plated, so the visible ring will darken and develop a natural patina outdoors over the years, which Hunza treats as part of the design rather than a fault. The body beneath it, which sits below the surface once installed, is powder coated aluminium rather than bronze. If you want the fitting solid bronze throughout, including the buried body, Hunza also makes a fully cast solid bronze Pure LED version of this light.

How It Works

• Light comes from a Cree LED chip producing 600 lumens for 6 watts at 1050mA, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
• Order with a beam angle of 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees and a colour temperature of 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
• The recessed body measures 96mm across and 86mm long. The flange is 152mm wide and 10mm deep, the cut out is 96mm and 1m of cable is supplied.
• Needs a Hunza remote LED driver, sold separately, with the fittings wired in series.
• Can be dimmed if a suitable dimmable driver is fitted.
• Its IP68 rating does not extend to pools or ponds. The warranty runs for 10 years, with 5 on the LED.
• The halogen Solid Bronze Lawn Light uses the same construction with a separate MR16 lamp.

Where It Works Best

Suited to open lawn where the fitting needs to survive foot traffic without becoming a trip hazard, and where the buyer wants the lower running cost of an integrated LED: lighting a specimen tree from below, marking the edge of a lawn near a path, or picking out a single feature in an otherwise dark stretch of grass.

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• Only the flange is bronze. The body below ground is powder coated aluminium, not bronze.
• The chip is built in and serviceable, so there is no bulb to buy.

Questions People Ask

Is the whole fitting made of solid bronze?
No. The flange, the ring visible at lawn level, is solid bronze. Below the surface the body is powder coated aluminium. Hunza's Cast Solid Bronze Pure LED Lawn Light is the fully solid bronze version if you need bronze throughout.

Do I need a transformer for this?
No. A Hunza remote LED driver does that job, with the lights wired in series.

Will the bronze flange change colour over time?
Yes. Left outdoors it will darken and develop a natural patina. This is expected and does not affect performance.

Can I choose the colour temperature?
Yes, between 2200K and 4000K, along with the beam angle. Both are set when you order and cannot be adjusted later.

Does a halogen version exist?
Yes. The Solid Bronze Lawn Light has the same flange and body construction but takes a separate, replaceable Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp.
