A Pure LED Lawn Light With Seven Powder Coat Finishes

The Hunza Pure LED Lawn Light in powder coat is a ground recessed uplighter that sits flush with the turf. The LED is part of the unit, and the powder coated aluminium body lets you match or contrast it with paving, planting or brickwork rather than being limited to a metal tone.

Powder Coated Aluminium, Seven Colours

The body is cast from corrosion resistant low copper aluminium alloy with a chromate substrate and a UV resistant polyester double powder coat, and the flange is solid aluminium. It comes in Black, Bronze, Dark Grey, Olive Green, Silver Star, White and White Birch, with swatches available on request since colours on screen are only ever a guide. Hunza gives the aluminium body a 5 year warranty, compared with 10 years on the solid bronze and 316 stainless steel flange versions.

How It Works

• Output is 600 lumens from 6 watts at 1050mA, from a Cree XHP50 LED board that is plug and play and field replaceable, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
• Four beam angles (15, 25, 38 and 60 degrees) and four colour temperatures (2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K) are offered, with a choice of clear or frosted lens. The beam optics are field replaceable.
• The gimbal rotates 360 degrees and elevates from 0 to 20 degrees, so the beam can lean toward a tree or the side of a building.
• The lens is 12mm extra clear, low iron, flush fit, shatter resistant glass with a lifetime warranty, and Hunza designs the fitting to be mowed over without damaging the luminaire.
• Body diameter 96mm, body length 86mm, flange diameter 152mm and flange depth 10mm, with a 96mm cut out and 1m of cable.
• Runs low voltage in series from a remote constant current LED driver, sold separately, with each fitting needing 6V at up to 1050mA.
• Dimming is possible with a suitable dimmable driver.
• IP68 rated, but keep it out of pools and ponds. The warranty is 5 years on the electronics and aluminium body.
• Do not pressure wash it.

Where It Works Best

Suited to borders, beds and lawn areas where colour matching matters, and where an integrated LED light source suits the project better than a replaceable halogen lamp. Hunza advises considering ground conditions such as fertiliser, soil acidity and salt content before choosing an in ground fitting.

What colours does this come in?

Can this be mowed over?
Hunza designs the lawn light to be mowed over without damaging the luminaire, thanks to its flush fit glass lens. It does advise considering ground conditions such as fertiliser, soil acidity and salt content before choosing an in ground fitting.

Is a transformer needed?
No. It is powered by a Hunza remote constant current LED driver rather than a transformer, wired in series.

What is the warranty on this finish?
Five years, which is shorter than the ten year warranty on the bronze and stainless steel Pure LED versions.

Can the colour temperature be adjusted?
Yes, from a warm 2200K up to a cooler 4000K, together with the beam angle, but both are decided when you order.
