A Copper Uplighter Set Into the Ground
The Hunza Pure LED Floor Light is an uplighter with an extremely low profile, so low that it can be walked on without damaging the fitting. Set flush into paving, decking or lawn, it throws light up the face of a wall, a tree trunk or a column. This low voltage version is made in solid copper.
Solid Copper Finish
Hunza makes this floor light in solid copper, a natural finish that is designed to weather and patina. New, it is bright and warm. With time and weather it deepens to brown, and eventually to a soft green. Copper is not coated, so the colour change is part of how it ages and is not a fault. Colours are for indication only.
How It Works
- A Cree LED chip gives 600 lumens from 6 watts at 1050mA, with CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Choose from 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, beam angles of 15, 25, 38 and 60 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- Body diameter 63.5mm and length 68.5mm, with an 88mm diameter flange that is 3mm deep. The cut out size is 63.5mm. 1m of cable is supplied.
- Supplied without a mounting canister. A canister is optional and can be bought here.
- If you need a tilting module, please call us and we will help.
- Low voltage and wired in series, so it needs a remote LED driver, sold separately.
- Dimming is possible with a suitable dimmable driver.
- Rated IP67 with a 10 year warranty, and 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- Set into a terrace or paved path to graze light up a boundary wall
- Uplighting the trunk of a specimen tree from the lawn
- At the foot of a column or pier on a porch or entrance
- In decking, where a fitting that can be walked on makes sense
Planning Your Scheme With Us
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them ourselves. The photographs on our Design Service page are of our own finished schemes, and they explain how we plan a layout, draw it up and have it installed by NICEIC registered electricians. If a scheme with recessed uplights is on your mind, start there.

- You can return it within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused, uninstalled and still in its original packaging.
- The mounting canister is an optional extra.
- Runs from a remote LED driver, sold separately, with fittings wired in series.
- Copper darkens and develops a patina outdoors, which is normal.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
