A Smooth Hooded Fern Light in Copper

Not every garden wants a fussy fitting. The Hunza Pure LED Fern Light with a smooth hood is a plain, compact spike light for lighting low foliage from above. It is low voltage, and the LED chip is integrated, so it suits a tidy, understated scheme.

Copper That Deepens With Age

Made in solid copper rather than a coating, this light will change as it ages outdoors. It starts out bright and warm, then deepens to brown, and over the years it can turn a soft green. Hunza designs it this way, so the patina is expected and not a defect. It can be returned within 14 days if unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.

How It Works

• An anti glare mesh sits around a UV stable polycarbonate lens, and light is emitted all the way round.
• The hood pushes the majority of the light below the horizontal plane, so it falls on the planting and ground.
• The Cree LED chip produces 510 lumens at 6 watts, with CRI 90 or more at 3000K. Colour temperature options are 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
• Hood diameter is 140mm. The body is 63.5mm across and 135mm long, and the spike is 145mm. A 1m cable is included.
• Series wired. It needs a remote LED driver, which is sold separately.
• You can dim it with a suitable dimmable driver.
• IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED. The parts are serviceable.

Good to Know

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Natural copper darkens with time. That is normal and not a fault.

What is different about the smooth hood version?
It has a smooth hood where the other Pure LED fern light has a contoured one. The light output, voltage and size figures given here are the same.

Does this need a driver?
Yes. It is low voltage and wired in series, so it needs a remote LED driver, sold separately.

Can I change the colour of the light?
You choose 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K when you order. The choice is made at purchase and is not adjustable afterwards.

Is the LED replaceable?
The fitting has an integrated LED chip and its parts are serviceable.
