Copper and green planting make an easy pair. This Hunza Pure LED Fern Light has a contoured hood and sits on a short spike, throwing a soft downward pool of light over low foliage. It runs on low voltage, and the LED is built into the fitting.

Solid Copper That Weathers Naturally

This fern light is solid copper, a natural finish designed to weather and patina outdoors. When it is new it is bright and warm. In time it deepens to brown, then to a soft green, much like copper on an old roof. That change is part of the point, so do not expect it to stay shiny. Returns are accepted within 14 days if it is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.

How It Works

• The lens is UV stable polycarbonate with an anti glare mesh, and it emits light around 360 degrees.
• Most of the light is reflected downwards below the horizontal plane by the hood.
• Cree LED chip, 510 lumens from 6 watts at 1050mA. CRI is 90 or more at 3000K, and you can order 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
• Measures 140mm across the hood, with a 63.5mm diameter body 135mm long and a 145mm spike. 1m of cable is supplied.
• Series wired low voltage, so a remote LED driver is required and sold separately.
• Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
• IP66 rated. 10 year warranty, with 5 years on the LED.

Where It Works Best

• Under ferns and shade planting, where copper tones sit well with green
• At the base of a small tree or low shrub
• Along a gravel or bark edge, as a low key marker
• In planting you want lit softly rather than floodlit

Will the copper keep its bright colour?
No. Solid copper is designed to weather and patina, moving from bright warm copper through brown to a soft green over time.
