Light a Path or a Facade from the Wall Itself
Mounted on a wall, the Hunza Pure LED Euro Twin Wall Spot gives you two beams that can be set independently, whether for a path below, a doorway nearby or the architecture of the building. It is a compact fitting with a slim base, so it sits close to the wall and stays out of the way. This is the low voltage copper version, with an integrated Cree LED chip in each head.
Solid Copper That Keeps Changing
The metal here is solid copper, which Hunza expects you to leave outdoors to patina. It begins bright and warm, deepens to brown and may finally settle into a soft green, much like copper guttering. Many people choose it for exactly that reason. A 316 stainless steel version is also made if you want a steady finish.
How It Works
- Both heads rotate through 360 degrees and tilt from 0 to 90 degrees.
- The Cree LED chips are replaceable. Output is 420 lumens from 4 watts at 700mA with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Select your colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and lens, clear or frosted.
- Head bodies are 44mm in diameter and 80mm long, on a 38mm bar 140mm long and a 60mm base 15mm deep, with 1m of cable.
- Total forward voltage is 12V, with 6V per head. Wired in series, so a remote LED driver is needed, sold separately.
- Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver in the circuit.
- Rated IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- On brick or render walls beside a garden path
- Either side of a porch, where copper warms the entrance
- Along a boundary wall where you want a few discreet points of light
- Lighting steps from the side without a recessed fitting
How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. The project photographs on our Design Service page show our own completed schemes, and how we plan, draw up and install them. If you would like a layout planned around your walls and paths, that page explains how we work.
Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The LED is integrated, so there is no separate lamp to buy, and the LED board is field replaceable and the parts are serviceable.
- You will need a remote LED driver, sold separately. Series wiring means the circuit should be planned before installation.
- Solid copper darkens with weather, and the patina it develops is not a fault.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
