A compact, high output eyelid light with an interchangeable beam
The Hunza Euro Step Light Solid Eyelid, sometimes called a Seamless Eyelid, packs considerably more light output into a smaller flange than Hunza's standard eyelid range, and lets you choose the beam spread to suit the job. This version is marine grade 316 stainless steel.
The stainless steel finish
The flange, eyelid hood and recessed body are all marine grade 316 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion in exposed or coastal settings. It keeps a consistent, neutral tone rather than ageing the way copper or bronze does, so it suits settings where a low maintenance, uniform finish matters more than a material that changes character over time.
How it works
The eyelid hood masks two thirds of the light source, eliminating upward spill and directing the beam down onto the step or path below. The integrated Cree LED chip outputs 420 lumens at 4 watts, considerably brighter than Hunza's standard eyelid range, and is field replaceable. It's wired in series through a remote low voltage driver rather than a simple transformer, and is dimmable if a suitable dimmable driver is used. The lens is interchangeable between 15, 25, 38 and 60 degree beam angles, so the spread of light can be set to the step or wall it's lighting. The flange is a compact 70mm across, with a 44mm recessed body and matching 44mm cut out, and it's supplied with 1m of cable.
Where it works best
Suited to steps, low walls, driveway piers and thresholds where a smaller, neater flange matters, or where you want more light output than a standard eyelid step light provides, such as longer flights of steps or wider driveways. The stainless finish also suits coastal or heavily exposed settings where a lower maintenance metal is preferred.

What makes the Euro version different from a standard Hunza eyelid light?
It has a smaller, more compact 70mm flange and a considerably brighter output, 420 lumens against 120 lumens on the standard Pure LED range, and the beam angle can be set by choosing the lens fitted.
Does the stainless steel need any maintenance?
No, it keeps a consistent tone with normal weathering and does not need polishing or sealing to keep working properly.
Does it come with a bulb?
No separate bulb is needed. It has a factory fitted Cree LED chip built in, which is field replaceable if it ever needs servicing.
Can I choose how wide the beam spreads?
