A Copper Bollard That Lights the Path at Your Feet

The Hunza Pure LED Spike Bollard stands 685mm tall and is made for paths, drives, borders and walkways. A mirror finish twin angle reflector sends light down onto the ground and out sideways at the same time, so you see where you are walking and the planting around you glows softly too. This is the low voltage version, with an integrated Cree LED chip that is serviceable rather than throwaway.

Solid Copper That Weathers Naturally

The body is solid copper, left to age rather than coated to hide it. When new it is bright and warm. Outdoors it deepens to brown over the seasons and then to a soft green, the way copper roofing and gutters do. Hunza designs it this way, so the change is part of the product and not a fault. If you want a finish that stays as it is, the same bollard is also made in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

• The lens is UV stable acrylic with an anti glare mesh, so the light is useful without dazzling anyone walking past.
• The Cree LED gives 510 lumens from 6 watts at 1050mA, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
• Pick your colour temperature when you order: 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
• Body diameter 63.5mm, height 685mm, supplied with 1m of cable.
• Spike mounted, so it is positioned in the ground where you want it.
• Low voltage and wired in series, so it needs a remote LED driver such as the Hunza 1050mA driver, sold separately.
• Dimmable if you use a suitable dimmable driver.
• Rated IP56/IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.

• Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• The LED chip is integrated and the parts are serviceable.
• Needs a remote LED driver, sold separately. Series wiring means your electrician should plan the circuit before installation.
• Solid copper will darken and patina outdoors. This is normal and not a fault.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Will the copper keep its bright colour?
No. Solid copper is a natural finish that darkens to brown and eventually green outdoors, which is how Hunza designs it to behave.
