A Small Stainless Spot for Trees and Planting
The Hunza NPS Spot is the luminaire head on its own, made to sit on a Hunza Tree Mount Kit or a Hunza Super Spike. On a tree it gives a soft moonlight effect, and on a spike it lifts light up into shrubs and bushes. This low voltage version is made from marine grade 316 stainless steel and takes a Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp.
Brushed 316 Stainless Steel
Stainless steel gives this spot a consistent brushed finish that suits modern planting and hard landscaping. In some environments it can pick up a light surface tarnish, and a regular wash keeps that in check. Order the head on its own, or add a 300mm Super Spike or a Tree Mount Kit with a rubber strap or screw fix.
How It Works
- The head is fully adjustable, with 360 degrees of rotation and 0 to 90 degrees of elevation.
- Head diameter 63.5mm and length 75mm, supplied with 1m of cable.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, so it needs a transformer, sold separately.
- No lamp is supplied. To keep the IP rating and warranty you must use a Hunza approved LED.
- Rated IP66, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.
- The Tree Mount Kit and the Super Spike are only available in black.
- The same fitting is also made as a GU10 mains version.

- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- This is the spot head only. The lamp, transformer and any mounting kit are separate.
- Stainless steel can show a light surface tarnish in some settings, which washing removes.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Is the lamp included with this spot?
No. The lamp is bought separately and must be a Hunza approved MR16 LED to keep the IP rating and warranty.
How far can the head be adjusted?
It rotates through 360 degrees and tilts from 0 to 90 degrees, so it can be aimed after installation.
Do I need a transformer?
Yes. This is a low voltage fitting, so it needs a transformer, which is sold separately.
Will the stainless steel tarnish outdoors?
It keeps a consistent brushed finish, but in some environments a light surface tarnish can appear. Regular washing keeps it in check.
