A higher output spotlight for bigger features
The Hunza High Power Spike Spot is built for jobs where the standard Spike Spot doesn't put out enough light: a mature tree, a large shrub, or any landscape feature that needs more reach than a domestic spotlight gives. It pushes straight into the ground on its spike, and the fully adjustable head gives 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation.
The extra corrosion protection
Hunza adds an extra powder coat layer on all High Power fittings specifically for additional corrosion protection. This version comes in Black.
How it works
At the point of ordering you choose colour temperature (2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (15, 30, 40 or 70 degrees) and lens (clear or frosted), giving a wide range of ways to shape a higher output beam around a single large feature.
Where it works best
This is the fitting to reach for when a standard Spike Spot would be underpowered: a mature or multi-stemmed tree, a large specimen shrub, or anything that needs the beam to carry further and read clearly rather than fade before it reaches the top.
Our own installations

Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since we were founded in 2003, over 23 years across their range, and the High Power line is what we specify when a project genuinely needs more output than the standard Spike Spot gives.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns: all High Power Spike Spot orders are made to order and non-returnable unless the item is faulty. Please check your colour temperature, beam angle and lens choice carefully before ordering, as orders cannot be cancelled once placed.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
