Hunza Eave Light GU10 - Powder Coat - Mains

The Hunza Eave Light GU10 in powder coat is the plain, mains powered version of Hunza's small recessed downlight, designed to blend into a painted soffit rather than stand out.

Powder coated aluminium finish

• The body is aluminium finished in a durable powder coat, so the colour stays consistent rather than weathering the way a natural metal would.
• Available in Hunza's standard range including black, white, grey, silver, green, brown and bronze.
• Colours are for guidance only on screen, physical swatches are available on request.

How it works

• This is a mains fitting, taking a GU10 lamp directly with no transformer or driver needed.
• The cut out for the recessed body is 65mm.
• Wiring is parallel, so multiple fittings can be looped together.
• The lamp is dimmable provided a dimmable LED is fitted.
• If you would rather run this from a low voltage transformer with an MR16 lamp, the same body is also available as the Hunza Eave Light in powder coat, low voltage.

• Porches and entrance canopies, for a low key downlight rather than a feature fitting.

Our experience with Hunza

Moonlight Design has stocked Hunza's outdoor lighting since 2003. The mains GU10 powder coat version is a popular choice for smaller retrofit jobs, where adding a transformer to the wiring is more hassle than it is worth.

Good to know

• Usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• Returns are accepted within 14 days provided the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
• No bulb is supplied. Fit a Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp to keep the IP rating and warranty valid, other brands may not seal correctly.
• Never install the fitting without a lamp in place.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Questions people ask

• Does this need a transformer? No, this GU10 version wires straight to the mains. A low voltage MR16 version is available if you prefer to use a transformer.
• Can I choose any powder coat colour? Hunza's standard range covers black, white, grey, silver, green, brown and bronze, and swatches are available on request before ordering.
• What lamp does this take? A Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp, bought separately, since other brands may not fit or seal correctly.
• Is it dimmable? Yes, provided you fit a dimmable GU10 LED lamp.
