Tanner's flush mount version brings together four opal glass globes on perpendicular metal arms, laid out in a precise, low profile geometric arrangement that sits close to the ceiling. Rather than a single central shade, the four globes spread light evenly across the fixture, giving it a stronger presence in the room.

The frame and arms are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that grounds the crisp, contemporary geometry of the design. The globes are opal glass, giving a consistent, softly milky look and an even glow rather than the variation you'd get from a natural stone shade.

How it works

Tanner takes four E27 bulbs, maximum 60W each (not supplied), one inside each opal globe, giving a bright, evenly spread light across the fixture. It measures around 26cm in height and 68.6cm in width, sitting flush against the ceiling. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

This flush mount suits living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways where a bolder central ceiling light is wanted, particularly in rooms with lower ceilings where a hanging pendant wouldn't work. It's also available as a wall sconce in the same aged brass finish for anyone wanting to continue the look at wall height.
