Starkey is a small, linear bath bracket from Hudson Valley Lighting that sets a textured glass panel within a neat brass edged frame, bevelled at the corners for a crisp, polished finish. It can be mounted horizontally above a mirror or vertically alongside one, and its compact backplate keeps the fitting unobtrusive against tiled or mirrored walls.

The frame and end terminations are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished metal tone that pairs well with marble, warm stone and traditional bathroom fittings. The front panel is textured glass, which diffuses the integrated LED into an even wash of light rather than a row of distinct points.

How it works

Starkey uses a 12W integrated LED, delivering around 200 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature, with a CRI of 90 and triac dimmer compatibility. This small size measures around 5cm in height and 44.5cm in length, projecting about 7cm from the wall, and weighs 3.2kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Starkey is designed as a bath and vanity fixture, mounted above or beside a bathroom mirror, though its clean, understated design also suits a hallway, dressing room or cloakroom where a slim linear light is wanted. This fitting carries an IP20 rating, meaning it's built for indoor use in dry to occasionally damp conditions rather than direct exposure to water, so its exact position relative to a bath, shower or basin needs to respect UK bathroom zoning rules.
