Sphere No.2 takes a simple, rounded glass globe and scales it up into a single large shade, suspended on three chains that converge to a wide canopy. The straightforward circular shape is softened by a painted finish that wraps around the upper half of the globe and continues along its base.

The canopy, chains and the banded finish on the globe are in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished metal tone that suits kitchens and dining spaces built around warm woods and brass hardware. The globe itself is glass, left clear around the centre so the light source stays gently visible through the shade.

How it works

Sphere No.2 takes three E27 bulbs, each rated up to 40W (not supplied), housed together within the single globe. It measures around 43cm in height and 52cm in diameter overall, with a drop adjustable between roughly 74cm and 157cm. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
