Ring shaped shades set on a deliberately asymmetric arm

Saturn is a two light wall sconce built around adjustable arms that carry ring shaped glass shades off a central axis, rather than mirroring each other in a fixed, symmetrical layout. Each ring is lined internally with LED, so the light traces the inside edge of the circle, giving the fitting a distinctive, almost orbital look on the wall.

The arms and fittings are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that suits both traditional and more contemporary rooms. The ring shades themselves are glass rather than alabaster, so their appearance is consistent from piece to piece, with the LED edge lighting giving each ring a clean, glowing outline.

How it works

Saturn runs on an integrated 15W LED across its two rings, producing 500 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature with a CRI of 90, and it's triac dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. It measures around 61cm in height, with rings 20.3cm in diameter, projecting roughly 7cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Saturn suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a more sculptural, statement wall light is wanted rather than a conventional sconce, for example on a feature wall or above a console table. It's also offered as a chandelier in the same aged brass finish, so the two can be used together in a single scheme.
