Hudson Valley Saratoga 2 Light Wall Sconce Light - Aged Brass

A globe form sconce that reads part modern, part retro

Saratoga is a two light wall sconce that pairs slim steel arms with a pair of alabaster globe shades, a nod to classic globe lighting redrawn with a cleaner, more contemporary arm. The fitting can be mounted with its arms curving upward or extending in a straight horizontal line, so it adapts to different wall layouts rather than fixing you into one orientation.

Aged brass finish with natural alabaster

The arms, backplate and end caps are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that works well against timber, painted panelling and other warm metal fittings. The globe shades are genuine alabaster, so the colour and veining will vary from piece to piece and won't match exactly to the images shown, which is normal for a natural stone material rather than a flaw.

How it works

Saratoga takes two G9 bulbs, maximum 6W each (not supplied), diffused through the alabaster globes for a soft, rounded glow rather than a direct point source. It measures around 40cm in height, 12.7cm in width, and projects roughly 17.8cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Saratoga suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a pair of globe lights would work either side of a mirror, artwork or fireplace, or spaced along a longer wall. The alabaster glow and aged brass finish sit comfortably in both traditional and more pared back interiors.
