A narrow wand sconce with crystal accents and a soft fabric shade

Rockland is a slim, narrowing wall light, a slender wand finished in aged brass with small crystal orbs catching the light along its length, topped with a soft white fabric shade. It's a quieter, more compact design than some of Hudson Valley's more ornate sconces, well suited to a smaller wall or a paired arrangement.

Aged brass finish with a faux silk shade

The wand and fittings are finished in aged brass, a warm tone with a lightly worn quality, while the shade is a faux silk in a soft white that diffuses the light gently rather than casting a hard edged glow. The crystal orbs add a small amount of sparkle without overwhelming the otherwise simple silhouette.

How it works

Rockland takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 40W (not supplied), housed within the fabric shade at the top of the fitting. It measures around 52cm in height and 12cm in width, projecting about 10cm from the wall, and weighs 1kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its smaller scale suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where space is tighter, for example either side of a narrow mirror, along a corridor or in pairs flanking a smaller piece of artwork.
