Rockland is a two light wall sconce from Hudson Valley Lighting built around a slim, tapering wand set with glistening crystal orbs, each one finished to catch and scatter light along the wall. A soft, off white fabric shade sits above, tempering the sparkle of the crystal with a gentler, more ambient glow.

Polished nickel finish with a faux silk shade

The wand and fittings are finished in polished nickel, a bright, mirror like metal tone that resonates well with the sparkle of the crystal orbs beneath. The shade above is faux silk, chosen for its smooth sheen and soft colour, which complements the reflective finish rather than competing with it.

How it works

Rockland takes two E14 bulbs, each rated up to 60W (not supplied), positioned within the fabric shade above the crystal detailing. It measures around 56.5cm in height and 33cm in width, projecting about 11.4cm from the wall, and weighs 2kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a touch of glamour is wanted, for example either side of a mirror or fireplace, or as a pair flanking a headboard. The combination of polished nickel and crystal makes it a natural fit for more dressed up, traditional interiors.
