Pomfret is a single light pendant from Hudson Valley Lighting built around a softly curved shade of thickly ribbed, spindle blown glass, left open enough to show off a vintage style exposed filament bulb inside. It's a simple pendant shape made distinctive by the texture and movement of the glass itself.

Polished nickel finish with clear ribbed glass

The fittings and canopy are finished in polished nickel, a bright, cool metal tone that pairs well with contemporary kitchens and dining spaces. The shade is clear glass, hand finished with a ribbed, spindle blown texture, so light catches and refracts across its curved surface rather than sitting flat.

How it works

Pomfret takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 40W (not supplied), ideally an exposed filament style bulb to make the most of the open glass design. It measures around 52cm in height and 15.2cm in diameter, hung on a black braided cord with a drop adjustable between roughly 67cm and 387cm. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

It suits kitchens and dining rooms, whether hung as a single pendant above a small table, or grouped at varying heights above an island or long dining run. Its long adjustable drop and braided cord make it a good fit for double height spaces or staircases as well as more standard ceiling heights.
