Hudson Valley Niagara 1 Light Wall Sconce Light - Aged Brass & Crystal

This version of Niagara keeps the same tapered white fabric shade and rounded aged brass backplate as the standard sconce, but adds a clear crystal stem section beneath the backplate for a touch of extra sparkle. It's the same streamlined shape with a small, more decorative detail added.

The frame and backplate are finished in aged brass, warm and softly worn, while a clear crystal section sits along the stem, catching and scattering light rather than simply diffusing it. Expect small variations in exactly how the light plays across the crystal depending on the bulb and angle.

How it works

Niagara takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 60W (not supplied), housed within the tapered fabric shade. It measures around 70cm in height and 15cm in width, projecting about 17cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a bit more sparkle is wanted than the plain version offers, for example flanking a mirror or fireplace, or anywhere the play of light across the crystal will be noticed.
