Hudson Valley Hinsdale 7 Light Island Pendant - Aged Brass

Hinsdale arranges seven hand blown glass spheres along a square metal beam, as if they've been drawn there by an invisible magnetic pull rather than fixed in place. Each sphere is a solid, glossy white glass, so the light glows softly through the glass itself rather than shining as a hard point.

The beam and fittings are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that anchors the more playful arrangement of glass spheres above it. Each sphere is hand blown, so slight variations in shape and finish between spheres are normal rather than a fault.

How it works

Each of Hinsdale's seven spheres houses a single G9 bulb, maximum 6W (not supplied). The fixture measures around 47cm in height, 110cm in length and 54cm in width, with a minimum drop of roughly 59cm and a maximum drop of around 175cm, so it can be hung to suit different island or table heights. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its length makes it well suited to kitchen islands and dining tables, where the row of glass spheres can be appreciated from several angles. It works best as a genuine focal point in contemporary and transitional kitchens.
