A sweeping metal arm carrying a simple linen drum shade
Harlem pairs a long, sweeping metal arm with a classic linen drum shade, giving this wall sconce a sense of movement that a straight arm wouldn't have. The shade keeps the silhouette simple, letting the curved arm do most of the visual work.
Polished nickel finish with Belgian linen shade
The arm and backplate are finished in polished nickel, a bright, reflective metal tone that suits contemporary interiors and cooler colour palettes. The drum shade is made from Belgian linen, giving a soft, warm glow through the fabric rather than a hard edged pool of light.
How it works
Harlem takes a single E27 bulb, maximum 40W (not supplied), diffused through the linen shade for a gentle, ambient light. It measures around 61cm in height and 13cm in width, projecting about 16cm from the wall thanks to its sweeping arm. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a softer accent light is wanted, for example either side of a bed, flanking a fireplace, or spaced along a hallway wall. The polished nickel finish and linen shade sit comfortably in modern and transitional interiors alike.
