A slim metal arm meets a tapered shade, in polished nickel
Gordon extends a slim metal arm out from the wall to a neatly proportioned tapered fabric shade, with a smooth clear glass rod and ball finial hanging beneath the backplate for a touch of sparkle. It's a straightforward silhouette lifted by that small glass detail.

The arm, backplate and candlecup are finished in polished nickel, a cool, bright metal that suits contemporary interiors and pairs naturally with chrome, glass and pale stone. The smooth clear glass rod and ball beneath the backplate catch the light, while the tapered shade at the end softens it into an even, gentle glow.
How it works
Gordon takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 40W (not supplied), housed within the tapered shade. It measures around 57cm in height and 13cm in width, projecting about 17cm from the wall, and weighs 1.4kg. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a touch of glamour is wanted, particularly in cooler, more contemporary schemes built around nickel, chrome or glass rather than warm brass tones.
