A crystal arm and a silk shade, mixing materials for a refined wall light
Gordon combines an extended arm of faceted crystal with detailed metalwork, topped with a carefully proportioned silk shade. The crystal arm gives the fixture a lighter, more transparent feel than a solid metal arm would, while the shade above adds a more traditional, dressed up note.
Aged brass finish with crystal and silk
The metal fittings are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that pairs naturally with the faceted crystal arm beneath the shade. The silk shade sits at the top, its size chosen to balance the visual weight of the crystal and metal below it.
How it works
Gordon takes a single E14 bulb, maximum 40W (not supplied), diffused through the silk shade at the top of the fixture. It measures around 57cm in height and 13cm in width, projecting roughly 17cm from the wall. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a more dressed up wall light is wanted, for example either side of a bed, flanking a mirror, or as a pair in a formal dining room. The crystal and brass combination suits traditional and transitional interiors.
