Hudson Valley Fleming 2 Light Wall Sconce Light - Aged Brass

This Fleming wall sconce takes the same intersecting bar design as its ceiling counterparts and scales it down to two oblate, spheroid glass shades projecting from the wall. The result is a geometric, architectural looking fitting rather than a traditional sconce shape.

The frame is finished in aged brass, a warm, lightly burnished metal tone that suits rooms built around wood, stone and other warm metal accents. The shades are plain glass, chosen to spread light evenly rather than act as a decorative feature in their own right.

How it works

It takes 2 x G9 bulbs, each rated up to 5W (not supplied), one per shade, for a soft, even wash of light in both directions. The fixture measures around 57cm in height and 12cm in width, projecting a generous 28cm from the wall, and weighs 2.2kg. As a mains wired fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its geometric form suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways in contemporary or mid century inspired schemes, particularly either side of a bed or mirror where its generous projection allows the shades to sit well clear of the wall.
