A wide dandelion burst of faceted K9 crystal, set as a semi flush ceiling light

This six light Dunkirk semi flush from Hudson Valley Lighting extends the same dandelion style burst across a much wider spread than the smaller flush mount, with wire stems radiating from a central hub and tipped in faceted crystal beads, sitting just below the ceiling on a short drop rather than flat against it. The candelabra bulbs sit visible at the centre, so the effect reads as a broad, layered wash of sparkle.

The hub and wire stems are finished in aged brass, a warm tone that anchors the sparkle of the crystal beads at each stem end. The crystal itself is faceted K9 crystal glass, cut to catch light from multiple angles, giving real depth and movement across the wider span of this six light version.

How it works

This semi flush takes six E14 candelabra bulbs, maximum 40W each (not supplied), visible at the centre of the burst. It measures around 39cm in height and 76cm in diameter, sitting close to the ceiling on a short drop. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its wider diameter suits larger rooms, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hallways where a bigger ceiling fitting is wanted but a full chandelier or a large hanging drop isn't practical, for example a room with a lower or standard ceiling height. The aged brass and crystal combination works well in traditional interiors looking for a more glamorous ceiling fitting.
