Dunkirk is a four light flush mount from Hudson Valley Lighting built as a dandelion style burst, with thin wire stems radiating from a central brass hub, each tipped with a cluster of faceted crystal beads. The candelabra bulbs sit visible at the centre, so the light reads as a sparkling, layered ceiling fitting that draws the eye without needing a large drop.

The hub and wire stems are finished in aged brass, a warm, softly burnished metal tone that anchors the sparkle of the crystal beads at each stem end. The crystal itself is cut and faceted to catch and scatter light from multiple angles, giving the fixture more depth and movement than a plain glass or fabric shade would.

How it works

Dunkirk takes four E14 candelabra bulbs, maximum 40W each (not supplied), visible at the centre of the burst rather than concealed. It measures around 27cm in height and 51cm in diameter, projecting roughly 27cm from the ceiling. As a mains wired fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a flush mounted fitting is needed but a plainer ceiling light would feel underwhelming, for example a low ceiling that can't take a hanging pendant or chandelier. Its aged brass and crystal combination sits well in traditional and glamorous interiors alike.
