Hudson Valley Dunkirk 10 Light Chandelier - Aged Brass

A large scale crystal chandelier with 10 lights

This is the largest Dunkirk chandelier in the range, its steel frame carrying ten lamps deep within a dense arrangement of faceted crystal beads. Light from the concealed bulbs catches and scatters through the crystal, giving the fixture a layered, sparkling quality that's built to anchor a larger room.

Aged brass frame with faceted crystal

The frame is finished in aged brass, a warm, burnished metal tone that plays well against the cool sparkle of the crystal and suits both traditional and more eclectic interiors. The crystal beading is strung by hand onto the frame, so expect the usual small variation in bead placement from piece to piece.

How it works

Dunkirk takes 10 x E14 bulbs, each rated up to 40W (not supplied), concealed within the crystal branches so the light reads as a glittering whole rather than individual points. It measures around 74cm in height and 76cm in diameter, with a minimum drop of about 88cm and a maximum drop of around 220cm, and weighs 9.5kg. As a mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Given its scale, it suits larger living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls with the ceiling height to accommodate the full drop, ideally over a dining table or in a double height stairwell. The aged brass and crystal combination suits classic and grand transitional interiors in particular.
